WABA represents a diverse mix of businesses, property owners, retailers and service providers. Our members come from every industry: Antiquing, Architectural Design, Art Classes & Supplies, Bakery, Beauty, Casual & Fine Dining, Churches, Education, Framing, Grocery, Interior Design, Legal Services, Marketing Consultancies, Quilting, Real Estate, Retail Shopping and much more.
We fundamentally believe in the idea that “Rising Tides Raise All Ships”: working together, we can make the West Annapolis commercial corridor the best place to live, work and play in Anne Arundel County.
Our primary goals continue to be addressing traffic and pedestrian safety, improving neighborhood aesthetics and the increasing opportunities for current and future business development.
Within this context, WABA supports member businesses in a variety of ways:
- WABA exists to support member businesses through civic engagement: we connect members to the appropriate City, County and State representatives, and we advocate for our members and their businesses with local political and commercial leaders.
- WABA creates connections for members through networking and professional development.
- WABA creates exciting events that engage our entire community of business owners, neighbors and visitors.
